Men's Basketball Falls To Penn State Behrend, 78-63

ERIE, Pa. - The Frostburg State men's basketball team fell 78-63 to Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference foe Penn State Behrend, Saturday at the Junker Center.
Penn State Behrend (4-1,1-1) led for the entire contest after jumping out to a 11-0 advantage which they would not relinquish. FSU (1-4, 0-2) would cut the lead to eight points going into the break with the score 32-24, but the Lions would pull away in the second half for the 15 point victory.
Seniors Jermaine Kapombe (Washington, D.C./Friendly) and Dale DeBerry (Upper Marlboro, Md./Riverdale Baptist) led all Bobcat scorers with 17 points.
PSB had four players in double figures including a double-double by leading scorer Kevin Buczynski with 18 points and 12 boards. Adam Potter was 5-of-5 from the field, which included three three-pointers to finish with 17 points.
The Lions shot 52% from the field, while Frostburg State struggled to finish the day at 39%. The Bobcats shot a season high 74% from the free-throw stripe while PSB shot 60%.
Frostburg State returns to action at home against AMCC opponent La Roche on Wednesday, December 5th for a 8:00 pm tipoff.
